Recognising our staff for the great work they do

Recognition of our school community members is an integral part of our school culture. We know that when we value the work of others, and acknowledge their achievements and commitments, this leads to positive student learning outcomes.

As a school was have embedded recognition into all we do, from recognising our students for efforts in their learning, to their commitment to our school values. Similarly, we implemented a simple recognition tool, accessible to all students, staff and community members to give them a way to acknowledge the work our staff do everyday that makes our school a wonderful community to be a part of.

If you would like to send a 'thank you' to one of our staff members who have made a positive impact on your child or your family, please click on the image below!

Each week our Executive Leadership team prioritise time to talk about every acknowledgement that is received and ensure that it is then passed on to the relevant staff member.

Acknowledgement of Country

Golden Grove High School acknowledges the Kaurna people who are the traditional owners of the land we learn on. We pay our respects to their spiritual relationship with Country and acknowledge that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to those living today.

We pay our respects to Kaurna Elders, past, present and emerging and we acknowledge the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting from areas around Australia.
