Working together with families to support our young people

We are proud of the connections we have with our school community and understand the value that is brought to a child's school experience when school and families work together.

Our Parent Engagement Committee are a dedicated and passionate group of parent and caregiver volunteers who meet to discuss the current foci and projections of the school, host community connection events and support the school in developing initiatives that respond to the needs of the students.

The Parent Engagement Committee meet three Monday evenings a term from 6:00-7:00pm. Expressions of interest to join the committee are sought at the beginning of Term 1, however if you would like to become involved, we would love to have you!

We welcome all families to join our committee at any time throughout the year. If you would like to know more, please contact our Parent Engagement Committee Chair via email or by phone on (08) 8282 6400.

Acknowledgement of Country

Golden Grove High School acknowledges the Kaurna people who are the traditional owners of the land we learn on. We pay our respects to their spiritual relationship with Country and acknowledge that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to those living today.

We pay our respects to Kaurna Elders, past, present and emerging and we acknowledge the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting from areas around Australia.
