Be part of our community through our Governing Council

Our School has an active Governing Council. There is a strong and genuine collaboration between the Principal and parents. This group leads school policy development through a number of committees and provides leadership support in the implementation of school priorities, school policy and financial management within the school.

The Governing Council Annual General Meeting is held early in Term 1 each year and all parents are invited to attend. Nominations are sought for representation on Governing Council and/or the sub-committees that inform policy direction.

A copy of the Chairperson's report can be found in the Annual Report

If you would like to find out more about becoming a member of our Governing Council please contact the school via email or by phone on (08) 8282 6400.

Acknowledgement of Country

Golden Grove High School acknowledges the Kaurna people who are the traditional owners of the land we learn on. We pay our respects to their spiritual relationship with Country and acknowledge that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to those living today.

We pay our respects to Kaurna Elders, past, present and emerging and we acknowledge the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting from areas around Australia.
