Respect | Integrity | Pride | Equality | Resilience

Our values are the heart of everything we do.

In 2023, through an extensive consultation period with staff, students, families and community members, we are proud to have launched our School Values Matrix that supports our young people in understanding how and where our values can be brought to life.

As an integral part of our school culture, we bring our values to life everyday in all we do and they influence how we connect with each other. Our matrix is visible throughout our school in every classroom and is used by our teaching staff as an educational tool in learning. It is also the basis of our 'fortnightly focus' where one behaviour from the matrix is taught and practiced across all year levels of the school in each class.

We encourage our families to also use this tool in their conversations with their children.

Acknowledgement of Country

Golden Grove High School acknowledges the Kaurna people who are the traditional owners of the land we learn on. We pay our respects to their spiritual relationship with Country and acknowledge that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to those living today.

We pay our respects to Kaurna Elders, past, present and emerging and we acknowledge the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting from areas around Australia.
