Parents and Caregivers
Golden Grove High School places great importance on the quality of the relationships between parents, students and staff. Regular communication with parents occurs via Latest News on the school website, notes in the school diary, the new School Stream App (in 2019), the Golden Grove High School Facebook page, parent - teacher meetings, information evenings and telephone calls.
Governing Council is an example of the strong partnership between parents and the school. Governing Council plays a pivotal role in policy direction, and improvement planning strategic directions and financial management within the school. All parents are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting and participate on the various committees.
Our wellbeing focus encourages parents to keep in regular communication with the school if they have any concerns. If a child is to be absent please send a note to the Homegroup teacher via the School Diary, use the School Stream App eForm Absentee Form, phone the school on 8282 6400 or use our contact form.
The Parent Complaint Policy can be viewed with our other school policies as can a copy of the Department for Education Parent Complaint brochure. For further information about Feedback and Complaints, please visit 'Feedback and Complaints about a School or Preschool'.
