Alex Carey, DUX of 2019
Congratulations to all members of the class of 2019 on their SACE achievements.
Highlights of the results include:
• The SACE completion rate of 98% is the highest ever.
• Alex Carey is the Dux, with an ATAR of 97.90, achieving 4 A grades, including 1 at A+ and another at A+ with merit.
• Golden Grove High School students received a total of 5 merits.
• 100% completion of SACE modified subjects.
• The number of students receiving an ATAR above 80 is 32, of these 78% were over 85.
• 8 students had an ATAR of 95 or greater.
• Our students received 190 A grades between them.
• 22% of all grades were As. This is an increase of 1% on 2018.
Well done and thank you to all the teachers involved this year and in previous years. Well done also to our Year 12 sub-school team led by Mrs Sylvie McLaren.
