Our school purpose is to achieve Success for All
We are proud to provide quality public education for all young people in our community. Our purpose is to achieve Success for All. This means we notice and celebrate every young person for who they are. Our commitment is to support all students to:
· Develop purpose, belonging, and wellbeing,
· Become thriving learners,
· Transition to a fulfilling future.
Our school values of Respect, Equality, Pride, Integrity, and Resilience are the foundation for everything we do.
Our school was established in 1989 with 150 students in years 8 and 9. The school has grown over the years and now caters for students from year 7 to year 12, with enrolments normally between 1500 and 1600 students. We have excellent facilities and beautiful grounds. As a member of the broader Golden Grove Secondary School Campus, our school shares learning spaces with Gleeson College and Pedare Christian College. Through this partnership our students have access to a wide range of specialist facilities and an extensive range of SACE subjects and VET courses.
We are proud to offer students a range of specialist programs in Dance, Touch Football, and AFL Girls. Entry into these programs is via an application, audition, or trial. Details of the specific process for each program can be found in this website. Our student’s continual success in local and state-level competitions reflects the excellence of these programs.
Our school provides a specialised program, EXCEL, for students with academic potential to extend their learning beyond their curriculum. We also cater to the individual interests of students through our extensive lunchtime club offerings which have emerged from student suggestions and are supported by our passionate staff.
We are committed to ensuring all students are valued members of our school community, with families actively involved in school life, enabling all students to thrive and learn.
