The Technologies curriculum provides students with opportunities to consider how solutions are created. Students research and identify possible and probable futures, and develop solutions to meet needs considering impacts on sustainability. Students develop skills to manage projects and communicate their ideas through planning, organising and monitoring timelines, and the use of resources. This includes work and time plans; assessing and managing risks; making decisions; controlling quality; evaluating the effectiveness of their products or systems and processes and collaborating and communicating with others at different stages of the process. Students will develop critical and creative thinking and problem solving skills contributing to their ability to deal with the demands of a rapidly changing world.
